Somehow this slipped through the cracks until now. In an interview a few months back promoting STRAIGHT TO HELL RETURNS, Alex Cox was kind enough to give a shout out to GOLIATH.
“I mean people are making very good, funny independent features. I saw this film about a lost cat. Have you seen this film, Goliath about the lost cat? Oh, it’s good. It’s really sad, but it’s funny. These two brothers, the Zellner brothers, did it in Texas. And I thought it was great.”
